here’s a favorite from when I was a wee thing hanging with the dinosaurs;-)Pastina in Broth:Drogar-Dolar(LBG): 4 cups light meat broth 1 cup pastina — small pasta — or barley 1 tbs parsley Parmesan to serve Bring the broth to a boil in a saucepan. Add the pastina and simmer at a lively pace until the pastina is cooked, according to package directions. It should be tneder but not overcooked.
Remove the pan from the heat, add the parsley, and serve, passing Parmesan at the table. 4 servings = about 130 calories. this is so good on a chilly day…filling but not stuffed!
