Palmetto Beetles aren’t properly named. They are the Amerian

Cockroach, aka, Palmetto Bug, they prefer to live outside but come

inside for moisture and food. Usually found in closets and under

sinks. The Brown Cockroach can fly, but most of the Palmetto Bugs are

not so prone to flying, they can get as big as a half smoke Hemingway

cigar in a lot of cases. It’s the Germans you don’t want, the German

Cockroach is the small skinny roach that multiplies by the thousands.

If you see one there are thousands more behind that wall. They like

tight places and prefer indoors more so than outdoors, where they can

easily be eaten by frogs, toads and such.
