I make an oven baked french toast almost exactly like this, but instead of 12
pieces of bread, I use 12 stale croissants (cheap at my grocery store) and I
split them in half and spread with strawberry jam before I pour the mixture
over. My husband loves it, so I thought I would mention it. 🙂
