    I have an orbit chaise lounger that spends entire life outside. The sun is brutal to the fabric and it breaks down after a few years. These cushions are very expensive to replace.

    I was thinking of making a cover for it. It should be fairly easy, but the question is…what kind of material do it use? I need something that can withstand the hot sun rain and heavy winds.

    It does get put up in the winter time so freezing temps are not a problem.

    You can get upholstery material that has a rubberized backing to keep it protected. There’s a tutorial here on the site that I read last summer:
