Make your own Orange Pumpkin Scones with Pumpkin Pie Glaze
3 cups All Purpose Flour, plus additional for rolling
2 teaspoons Baking Powder*
½ teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
2 tablespoons orange zest (about 2 oranges)
¾ cup Unsalted Butter, chilled and cubed
½ cup 100% Pure Canned Pumpkin*
Glaze Ingredients
½ cup plus 1 tablespoon Milk, divided
¾ cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Preheat oven to 375
Mix first 5 ingredients together in food processor. Add butter & orange zest and pulse. (Should be pea-size) add pumpkin, pulse.
Add milk, pulse.
Dump onto floured countertop, sprinkle top lightly with flour. Pat dough out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutters.
Put them on a silpat or parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
While they bake, mix all the glaze ingredients together, glaze slightly warm scones.
