Be VERY cautious about using OTC products (I won’t allow my friends/family to use them). They have chemical with far more side effects (including death) than Advantage. Many OTC products use permethrin or their derivatives. The extra money is far worth it.

have the name. It was about 8 bucks and works on dogs and cats. Mypoint is to try something that isn’t being used by everyone else-
kind of a surprise attack.
