1 lb ground turkey meat.
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp salt
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground cumin
2 tbsp red wine vinegarMix all ingredients in a large bowl & refrigerate, covered, for a couple of hours to let flavors mellow.
To cook: cumble into heated pan with a little oil & saute until no longer pink. We freeze ours-uncooked, but you could cook & then freeze. alittle bit goes a long way.
I really like it in scramble eggs or an omelet.

Margaret K – How large are the portions that you freeze? Say for one person?

It depends on how much you eat (we don’t eat much) & how much you like Chorizo. We get 4 meals out of ours, probably 2 meals for bigger eaters. We also like to mix it in with ground beef for different meals.
It can give a mundane meal a whole new taste. The next time turkey breast is on sale we’ll get one (or 2) & grind it up for Chorizo.

Thanks Margaret – Being home bound, my meals tend to be repetitive & boring. This will be a very nice & easy change.
