Hello all! I’m so glad I found this list. I’m sure all of you will be
a great help to me and my family. I am a 35 year old female married to
a great man for 14 years and we have 2 kids – 13 years (14 in Sept)
and 9 years.
I’ve been thinking about my grocery shopping and I hope to implement
the ideas of a price book and menus. However, I have the Reader’s
Digest book – _Homemade: How to make hundreds of products fast, fresh
and more naturally_, _Cheap. Fast. Good! cookbook_ and _The Everything
Meals for a Month cookbook_. My question is – the first book tells not
only how to make a lot of convenience foods from scratch, but it also
says how to make your own window cleaner and general house cleaner and
many other cleaning and healthcare products. Would making the cleaning
products and healthcare products (some with essential oils in them) be
cheaper than buying them retail? Just curious as I’m thinking of
making some. Thanks.
P.S. I can post any of the recipes if you want them.
