We’re trying something new this year- Starting January 1st we’re going to take an empty mason jar and fill it with notes about each of the Good things that have happened to us throughout the year as they occur…
then.. next new years eve, we’re going to empty the jar and read them all together as a family to appreciate all of the awesome stuff that happened that year!just trying to decide, should we each have a jar or just 1 giant jar …. I already cut a stack of colored paper into small notes to put beside our jar!
I suppose if you’re going through a really tough time you could write.. “I made it through ______ and I learned _______ because of it!”
My brother is a teacher and he keeps a jar of things the kids said or did that amused the hell out of him, I love that idea too.
