New to group and I really need wedding help!

I got married May 14, 2005. I still remember like it

was yesterday. We made our invitations. We went ti

Michaels (or A.C. Moore). We found a section for

wedding invitations and went onto the internet website

with templates. All we had to do was plug in the

names and dates and put together the paper. Everyone

asked the name of the “company” that did our invites.

I joined the internet website “theknot.com” and

learned a lot of ways to cut corners with an elegant

look. We bought small wine bottles for table settings

and got labels from Staples or Michaels and again, we

used our computer and colored the labels and found a

“catchy” phrase…”love is the most refreshing drink

of all”—Pablo Picaso.

We tied a few Jordan Almonds with netting to the

bottles. I made my throw away bouquet out of silk

flowers I found at Walmart with ribbons and lace. I

bought inexpensive shoes for the weddings because ,

who stays in their wedding shoes all night long

without calouses. I kicked my shoes off and danced

the whole night away. The real cost came with the

dress and reception site but that is what i wanted.

If I had it do to all over, I would have gotten a

cheaper dress. My dress is sticking in a closet now,

and I would have chosen a less expensive reception. I

will say that going on the knot.com really helped

because I found a lot of ideas that cut costs for us.
