Hello,
My dad taught me to be nice to people, to respect them, to be honest, (I remember a time when the man on the cafe gave change for a 2000 “escudos” (aprox 10 dollars) when I paid with 1000 and my dad made me go back to deliver the extra note). He taught me also to be polite to people, and to say good morning and good afternoon, whenever I enter a place. As a master cook he also taught me how to turn crepes (more thin pancankes) with my hand without burning.
He also taught me a remedy for flu wich is hot “aguardente” (I don't know if you have something like that, but it's a distilled alcoholic drink) with lots of sugar.
