The recipe is so easy and delicious.
      2 cups sliced onions
3 cups shredded cabbage(recipe calls for red, I used green)
      2 cups sliced apples
      4 T. butter
      1 cup red wine
      1 t. salt
      nutmeg
Melt butter in saucepan and saute all ingredients except nutmeg.

Cover and cook on low for 1 hour. Put into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

This was so good!! It would be great with Pork chops, but I had a pork tenderloin and that was yummy, too!!
