If your outgo is already more than your
income you really have no other choice but to get another job. After
looking over your list, the only thing that I see that could be cut down is the
medical bills (you can call and explain your situation – according to
Dave Ramsey they will take anything that pays it down – even though they
WILL try and tell you making the entire payment is the only way they will
accept money; several years ago I was advised to keep paying $5-$10 on my
overdue medical and as long as they kept accepting/cashing the checks my
account was technically active) or the credit card amounts. Of course
this can bite you as the interest will keep rolling over. Can you get
them to lower your interest rate or switch to a lower rate card? Talk to
your local churches or crisis centers; maybe they can help you with groceries for
a little bit.Could your husband get a part time job in
the evenings just to put toward debt repayment? Or maybe you can do
childcare in your home? Around here there is always a need for childcare
help. Maybe you can sell things you no longer need? Be sure and
check out Dave Ramsey’s website. He has a wealth of financial
advice that is proven and solid and might could help you.
family members to pay towards your bills in lieu of a physical gift. Just
a thought.Good Luck!
