      Funny thing is, I waited until my kitten was well into his 9th month, and had him spayed. A friend told me that it takes several months for the testosterone levels to die down. Before that, he clawed and bit a lot. I have seen a dramatic change in all of that. He is still a cat, and still does things that cats do, but seems to be more “mellow”. JMO.
