We had our tile cleaned professionally after we bought our
house…that way we could get the grout white again! They told us
the best thing to use is ammonia and hot water. This cuts grease and
buildup off and is very clean with no build up and then use only a
wet mop but no commercial cleaners because it does make it look dingy
and hazy……I never knew this and my kitchen, breakfast area, foyer
and 3 bathrooms all have tile!
For grease pans I soak in very hot water and Dawn then I scrub them
with SOS pads. Greased Lightning is a brand of cleaner I love for
all purpose cleaning and it is amazing. I use it on my grill
outdoors and boy it really works. My mother used to tinfoil her drip
pans and change it as needed. If you put it on there neatly it
works….provided you are not using a gas stove!
