Hello,
I feed a family of 6 on around $600.00 per month. This includes all
personal and household items. (cleaning supplies, toiletries, ext)
I clip coupons, meal plan and watch for store sales. Once you have
set up a well-stocked pantry.. you will be able to cut back your
grocery bill as you would only have to buy items when they are sale.
If you have a freezer or storage space.. you can stock a nice supply
of food. It did take me almost 2 months though to get mine where I
wanted it to be as I do not have a large freezer.
Check out http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com for some ideas on budgeting,
menu planning and stocking a pantry.
Take care,
Kim
