I’ve had great success getting rid of fruit flies by setting out a small mason jar or clean jam jar filled halfway with apple cider vinegar, with a few holes punched in the lid. The flies fly in but can’t get out and they drown in the vinegar.If you have a major infestation, you’ll be amazed at how many flies that jar catches in a single day. Just keep emptying it and refilling as needed until all the flies are gone.
