Love the ideas, on the zucchini, I sure wish I had a garden and a freezer
bigger than a basketball.

many ripened bananas
I am a lover of banana bread other things like banana cake and muffins.
When banana’s go on sale, I will usually buy a whole BUNCH and my daughter
and I eat what we like and I let the other go soft. I wait until they turn
brown and start to get squishy and I put them in a large mixing bowl and
smash them all to smitherines and then get out my 1 cup measuring cup and
measure all the banana’s out into 1 cup’s and put them in a small ziploc bag
and freeze them. That way through the winter or when ever I get a wild hair
up my WooHa I snag a bag out of the freezer and make what I want to make
(It’s already measured don’t have to measure it out!!). I also do this with
Zucchini and put it through my food processor and measure it out and put it
into ziploc bags and freeze them. I always do Zucchini since it is out of
season in the winter and that is when I love to bake. All of my Christmas
gifts to family’s is a large basket of homemade food, so that is where all
the frozen stuff comes in handy.
I hope that this helped.
