My son is in the National Guard. They go through the same training as
regular Army but then they go back home afterwards until they are
called up. They go 1 weekend a month and then other training throughout
the year. He was put on notice last week that his name is on the list
to ship to Iraq in the next 6 months. and yes he had to leave his job
to go to basic traning and no they woudl not take him back afterwards.
tennessee is not a right to work state. if an emplyer wants to let you
go, they just need to say they no longer need you. my son is not lazy
or immoral. he is young and made mistakes. protection is 100%.
the baby is on the way he is trying even harder to get a job. He is out
everyday looking for a job. There is too few jobs and too many needing
jobs. And unfortunately the younger generation will be passed up for
those with more experience.
As far as the man in my signature. We all pray together nightly my son,
his fiance, and the rest of the family. 🙂

> Your son left his good job when he went to basic training? Are you
saying that he went through the Military Basic training? Then why is
he out of work and not in the military?>
