This is a wee bit different from rtebalt’s recipe.
Nachos II
1 bag tortilla chips
¾ lb.-1 lb leftover ground beef cooked and seasoned with taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
1 jar nacho cheese or salsa con queso of your choice
1 jar taco sauce
1 tomato diced
1 green onion diced
light sour cream to taste
shredded lettuce to taste
Warm the beef and refried beans in a small saucepan over medium heat, stir occasionally. Add a water to thin them to a “pourable” sauce state. Heat cheese in the microwave safe bowl or in the jar. Place shredded lettuce on a serving plate. Top with some of chips covering the lettuce. Add desired amount of nacho ingredients as preferred. Top with the more chips, and repeat with the rest of ingredients. Sprinkle diced tomato and green onions. Top with sour cream serve immediately. Serves 1-2
