1.) Mix 4 ounces of lemon juice with 28 ounces of vinegar in a spray bottle

Bring one gallon of white vinegar to a boil, add one cup of regular table salt and simmer until the salt dissolves. Cool the mixture. When cool, add 8 drops of detergent.
We used Dawn – any detergent will do.
3. Super Weed Killer- Combine 1/2 c. Dawn Dish soap, 1 gallon of vinegar and 1/4 cup salt.
Works great on Poison Oak and Poison Ivy. Doesn’t wash off easily in rain due to the addition of dish soap.
With any of the homemade recipes, it’s best to use on a warm day (with no rain predicted for 24 hours).
