      Sweet & Sour Dipping Sauce

      2 cups water
      2/3 cup distilled white vinegar
      1 1/2 cups white sugar
      1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
      1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
      3 tablespoons cornstarch

      In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix together all of the ingredients. Cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes, or until mixture reaches desired color and consistency.
