      Ginger is wonderful to reduce inflammation and also has analgesic properties. Since it’s rich in potassium and manganese it also helpos the heart & circulatory system. This is my go-to homemade drink of choice when my joints ache.

      Ginger Ale Recipe for Pain

      1 cup peeled, finely chopped Fresh ginger root
      2 cups purified water
      raw honey to taste (here)
      sparkling water
      1 lime, juiced
      Lime wedges for garnish

      In a small saucepan, boil the water, then add the chopped ginger, reduce heat to low, simmer 5 minutes.

      Shut off the heat, strain.

      To serve, combine 1 part ginger syrup to 3 parts sparkling water and serve over ice. Sweeten to taste with raw honey (or raw stevia) and some lime juice. Enjoy!
