Find a small pretty clear glass jar (with a cover)
Add 2-3 tsps of pulverized alum then fill to the top with alcohol.
In clear weather the liquid will be perfectly clear, but on the approach of
rain, the alum will begin to spiral around the bottom of the jar, gradually
