I agree with the different shifts, when my second child was born I got a job at a bank, working nights, 7p to 3a and my husband worked days. Then a few years later my husband went to nights and I worked days, and by then we had 3 kids, you not only get the benefit of no daycare but you also know that mommy or daddy is at home taking care of the baby all the time! That was the best and kept us going when we were getting burnt out!
Now all my kids are in school and I work for a company that lets me work in the office while they are in school and then I am able to pick them up from school and I can work a few hours at home, so again no daycare for the little ones!
