Mother’s Day ideas on a budget

I did this for Christmas 2 years ago, but it might be something Mom
would like.

My parents passed away several years ago and I found my father’s
senior photo. Mom didn’t graduate high school, but I found a photo
she had taken at a studio when she was around 19 years old. Luckily
both were 5×7 and so I got permission to reproduce the pics from the
original photographers.

I found frames at Hobby Lobby that were
matted to hold 2- 5×7 photos. So, I framed the photos, side by side,
and gave one to each of my brothers. They loved it!

So I did it for my husband’s side of the family last Christmas.His
parents are still alive and they loved it… claimed they forgot
what they looked like when they were young! Hope this gives birth to
more Mother’s Day gift ideas.
