1 – 2 lbs Italian sausages
1 10 oz or next size up can pineapple (drained reserve the juice)
4 apples cut in to chunks (with or without skin)
1 red pepper , orange pepper ( your choice) cut up
2 med onions chopped
1 clove garlic crushed
2 Tbs cornstarch + water to mix to a thin paste
1 cup water or broth (your choice)
1 . Cut sausages in to 1″ chunks. fry them until browned.
Place in your casserole dish
add onions peppers and garlic to the same pan
and saute till just onions are almost translucent.
add to casserole
2. Add water/broth and pineapple juice to fry pans to get all the bits left in the pan.
3. In a bowl add your cornstarch and water together then add to the pan.
Your making a sauce so it’s to your liking.
when done add to the casserole and mix well and place in a 350° oven to heat through.
approx – 15 – 20 mins.
You can put over your choice of rice or noodles. I prefer brown rice.
