We almost never have time to make breakfast’s in my house, so we’ll do
a meal of pancakes and eggs with cinnamon rolls once in a while.
Fetticine Alfedo is another good one. Just add breadsticks or garlic
bread, and a vegetable side. Homemade Pizza can be made without any
If you like ham on pizza, you can get those cheap packages of
really thin lunch meat and just shread it over top. Those packages are
usually only around $.50 each.
Here’s a casserole dish:
1 (8 ounce) package uncooked egg noodles
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (11 ounce) can Mexican-style corn
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
16 slices American cheese
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the egg
noodles and cook until tender, about 7 minutes. Drain, and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix together the tomato soup, corn, onion, and cream
of mushroom soup.
Stir in the cooked noodles until well coated.
Transfer to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place slices of cheese to cover
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is melted
and lightly browned.
If you’re looking into cutting back but not removing meat all together,
one thing I learned is that you can add uncooked oats to any hamburger
meal. The oats soak up the flavor and get really soft when cooked, so
you don’t even realize it’s there. It’s healthy, too.
