I make a mixture my kids dubbed Momma Helper using Ramen Noodles and
1 packet of the mix, this leaves me 1 leftover for other recipies.
2 packages Ramen Noodles (flavor depends on meat used)
1/2 pound ground beef or 1 cup leftover chicken or turkey
1/2 to 1 can corn, mushrooms or other leftover vegetables
Beef: brown 1/2 pound ground beef and drain. Add 2 packages of Beef
flavored Ramen Noodles broken up, 1 packet of seasoning mix, 2 cups
water and corn or mushrooms. Cook until noodles are done, about 5
Chicken or turkey: Put 1 cup chopped up cooked chicken or turkey in
a pot, add 2 packages chicken flavored Ramen noodles broken up, 1
packet of seasoning mix, 2 cups of water, and peas or other
vegetables. Cook until noodles are done, about 5 minutes.
Oriental: Put 1 small can baby shrimp ($1 at dollar store) into a
pot, add 2 packages oriental flavored Ramen noodles, 1 packet of
sauce mix, 2 cups of water and some stir fry vegetables or bean
sprouts. Cook until noodles are done, about 5 minutes.
Makes 4 servings for under $2.00
