KeymasterMaking your own Copycat McDonalds Chicken Selects is simple:
Wet Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepperDry Ingredients
2 cups self rising flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon pepperSauce (Combine the following in a bowl, mixing until smooth):
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1/4 cup mayonnaiseVegetable or Peanut Oil for frying
Mix all the items in the wet ingredients list together, set aside for 15 minutes. In a medium bowl mix the “dry ingredients” list together.
Remove the chicken pieces 1 by 1 (which have been soaking in the wet mix!) and dredge in the dry mix. Fry in hot oil (350F) Drain on paper towels
