Make Your own Marshmallow Fondant
Ingredients
1/4 Cup Vegetable Shortening (Crisco)
1 Pound Of Mini Marshmallows
1 Teaspoon Clear Vanilla Flavoring
1 Teaspoon Of Butter Flavoring
2 tbsp Tablespoons Water
2 lbs Powdered Sugar
Large Microwavable Glass Bowl (greased with the crisco listed above)dump marshmallows in bowl, mix flavorings and water and sprinkle over the marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows are coated. Microwave 20 second, stir, microwaved until melted, stir again.
Add the powdered sugar & mix about 4 min. Divide the mixture and add your desired colorings. Wrap in plastic wrap and let set in fridge 10 minutes.
Let it rest at room temp for 10 minutes before using so that it will be pliable.
