GuestPersonally, I don’t see *why* you needed to explain why you needed to
get rid of your dog. You asked for advice, not to be grilled. I
couldn’t imagine having to make the decision of giving away my 15 yodog. By that time they *are* your child.
Contact your local vet, there is also petfinders.com, Freecycle.Org and
craigslist that might be able to help you out.Good luck,
