I don’t think Shannon was trying to be rude or judgmental. I’m sure Herlean is not one of them but there are many many people in this world who would think nothing of kicking out an animal who has become more work than they bargained for – sad but true. Sometimes people don’t realize how much work having an older pet can be (and how much expense with vet bills and special diets etc for ones who are having age related problems)once there are small children around (whether or not the children have problems with the pet or the pet with the children).

Sometimes there are times when an animal (any animal) has to be put in a new place for the safety and health of all involved – including the animal!
