Hi Suzanne I read a lot of the other post and the address for Walter Reed is correct but for security purposes they have stopped distributing cards addressed to Any Wounded Soldier. There are plenty of organizations that can help you send cards and can even match you to one or several wounded soldiers, or a soldier overseas. Adopt a Platoon is one of them.
I know the wounded soldiers would appreciate any word of encouragement. I also know the troops overseas would love to here from people in the states. I would start with any National Guard, or Reserve unit in your local area or even talk to any veterans organization they usually have a handle on any local troops or wounded troops from the local area.
