We’ve had a YMCA membership for years now, but we have not actually been to the gum in a few months. I figured why pay if we don’t go, so I thought about canceling it. A novel idea, canceling your gym membership to get healthy? I have a treadmill, I run outdoors, I have weights and exercise tools at home. I could take classes and my kids love the pool (May-November here in FL) but should I stay a member just for those things? I’m trying to get below 200lbs. these last 9 are hanging on !

I have not had a gym membership in over a decade. I walked for a while but I stopped seeing changes in my body or fitness level. Nine months ago I started high intensity interval training at home and have been very happy with the results. I watch the bodyrock.tv videos on you tube for workout ideas.
