Some good vegetarian sites are:
I especially like this recipe from fatfreevegan.com:
and this one from fatfree.com:
You can add any veggies that sound good to you to the alfredo. I like
broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, zucchini, and onions.
The first two sites are vegan, but you can sub dairy ingredients for
the non-dairy ones if you wish.
Also, I like these lentil burgers:
I use brown lentils instead of the green ones called for in the recipe
because they’re more readily available. I’m sure you can use regular
eggs for the egg substitute if you wish. I like to add a little
Worcestershire and liquid smoke to these. Also, I find the
nutritional yeast unnecessary.

> Hi everyone, I’m trying to cut back on our food budget and in our
steak and potato family this is becoming a challenge I’m trying to do
at least 3 non meat dishes a week so if anyone has any suggestions or
websites they could share i would be greatful. Oh as a side note we do
not like fish so cooking that is out of the quesiton.
