My husband is a vegetarian and a very picky eater. I like useing tvp for some variety but we live in a rural area and it’s so expensive when i can get it. i’ve heard of people saving money by using it instead of meat and saving money by being vegetarians, but we could save more money on food here if we did eat meat!!!
the cheapest i can find the crumble style tvp is $3 a lb – (not dehydrated) I can get ground turkey for .39 a lb!!! There has to be someplace I can get it cheaper. I’ve been looking online and haven’t found it for much less. Cindy in MI
