      layer in order in large bowl

      lettuce (one head ripped)
      2 stalks chopped celery
      1 cut onion
      frozen thawed peas
      1 can chopped water chestnuts (drained)
      2 c mayo
      2 tbsp. sugar
      parmesan cheese
      grated cheddar cheese
      let set in fridge for 24 hours
      toss right before serving
