There was mention in the articles about using White Vinegar as a rinse/softener with the laundry sauce.
Has this been tried yet?

It isn’t needed as a rinse, but it won’t hurt anything if you want to use it. -

It works well, but I believe it is usually added after washing, to the rinse water. At least that’s how I do it.
