strong>Lime Muddy Buddies/strong> is my latest foodie obsession! These simple-to-make snacks are definitely one of my favorites, and they’re great for snacking.

Muddy Buddies are a sweet treat made from Chex cereal that has been coated in chocolate, powdered sugar, and a burst of your favorite flavor.

What You Need To Make Lime Muddy Buddies:

      • 9 cups Chex cereal
      • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
      • 1 small Box Lime Jell-o
      • 1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
      • green food coloring
      • 1 Tbs Key Lime Juice

How To Make Key Lime Muddy Buddies:

Pour the Chex into a large bowl, sprinkle with lime juice, stir and set them aside for a moment.

Stir the white chocolate chips in a small bowl that can be microwaved on high for 20 seconds. They should still be fairly firm.

Microwave for about 45 seconds and stir again. If necessary, microwave for an extra 15 seconds. The melted chocolate should be smooth when stirred once it is done. Add a few drops of green food coloring, stir quickly.

Pour the white chocolate over the Chex cereal, and mix it gently to coat it.

Pour the lime jello and powdered sugar into a small bowl and stir it until it looks like green powdered sugar.

Pour the Chex cereal mixture and the green powdered sugar into a plastic bag. Shake it up until the cereal is evenly coated. If you do not have a plastic bag, pour the mixture in a big bowl, and stir gently until evenly coated.

Pour out the goodness onto a baking sheet to cool.
