I just got this recipe from my sister in law via email, she found it online but didn’t say where! It looks SOOOO good!
Kahlua Brownies Bake in a Jar
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp.baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp.unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c.walnuts finely chopped (optional)
2 straight sided pint canning jars greasedIn a small bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, & cinnamon set aside. In a sauce pan combine butter, cocoa powder & water heat and stir until better is melted & mixture is well blended. Remove from heat stir in flour mixture.
Add buttermilk, egg & vanilla beat by hand until smooth. stir in nuts.
Divide equally among the two jars. Place jars on a cookie sheet. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in a preheated 325 degree oven.
Heat up
