* 2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
* 14 ounces Jimmy Dean sausage
* 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
* 4 eggs
* 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
* 2 1/2 cups milk
* 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 1/2 ounce)
* 1/2 cup milk
Grease a 9×13 casserole pan and pour in the croutons, set aside. In a skillet, brown the sausage (drain well) and then dump it over the croutons. sprinkle liberally with cheese. In a small bowl, beat the eggs, mustard and 2 1/2c. milk until well blended. Pour over the sausage/cheese/crouton mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
Just prior to baking mix the mushroom soup and 1/2 c. milk until smooth and pour over the top of the casserole.
Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours, remove from oven and let it set for 10 minutes prior to cutting and serving.
