      3/4 cup each chicken broth and dry white wine
      1/4 cup flour
      1 1/2 lb veal shoulder, cut for stew
      1 1/2 cups diced carrots
      3/4 cup diced celery
      1/4 cup chopped shallots
      1 bay leaf
      2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
      1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
      3 cups cooked orzo
      Garnish: grated lemon zest, chopped parsley

      1. Whisk broth, wine and flour in a 31/2-qt or larger slow-cooker until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients except orzo.

      2. Cover; cook on low 7 to 9 hours until veal is very tender. Sprinkle with lemon zest and parsley.

      Serve with orzo.
