Unless there is a medical need to have the phone line, there really are

not any programs to help you pay a phone bill.

In the mean time, cut back any extras on the phone- long distance, call

waiting, caller id, etc. They’re extras that are not needed for a short

      time.

If you have a cell phone on top of a land line, cut one loose. You

don’t need both for a short time until the bills are paid.

Prioritize the bills you have, and pay the ones that are absolutely

neccessary for now. If you can, maybe send in a partial payment, as

long as there isn’t a shut off notice on some stuff. It won’t help in

the long run, but it will help keep things afloat for now.

As long as there isn’t a shut off, though, you should be fine sending

in a partial to things like gas, electric, phone, and even credit

cards. Not all things will allow for partial payments, though, usually

      rent, mortgages, and loans.
