Hi Tiffany: First things first. Start saving your newspapers
now. You will go through a lot packing dishes, glassware, ect. If
you happen to be lucky enough to live near a newspaper office, ask
about their end rolls. They will probably be very happy to give you
as many as you think you will need. The plus side of this is that
the end rolls will not have any ink on them like the regular
newspaper. Also check with any local bars or liquor stores for their
liquor boxes or cases. These are great for packing glasses, cups,
ect. Also if you have any Wal-Marts nearby try to go in during their
third shift hours. This is when they do the truck unloading and
night stocking and you will usually be able to get all of the boxes
you can stuff into your vehicle. I know when I moved about two years
ago, I had to make quite a few night trips to Wal-Mart to get enough
boxes to move with. When I knew the move was coming up I began to
stockpile everything, and began to pack things I could live without
until I got moved. If your Wal-Mart was like mine they were more
than happy to give me their boxes, because this prevented them from
having to haul them back to the bailer. Oh one last thing. Invest
in a tape gun and plenty of tape(can buy at Wal-Mart in hardware,
paint dept.) This was a Godsend. Sorry I rambled on so long, I hope
this helps. If you need anymore ideas just ask. Good luck and take
care. Lana J:)
