In Memory of Prince: Purple Rain

In memory of Prince, I’m sharing this recipe for Purple Rain.

You’ll Need:

1 1/2 parts vodka
1 part blue curacao
1 part cranberry juice
1 part pineapple juice
1 part grenadine

If you want just 1 highball use a 1 oz shot glass to measure everything out.

These are really delicious! I suggest some relaxing music to go along with this one. You can read about Prince’s unexpected death here.

Thanks for this! I will be toasting his memory with friends tomorrow using this delightful beverage. I’m stunned that he’s gone, will miss his music, and his contribution to the industry.

Prince really was an amazing artist! Did you know that he taught himself how to play all of the instruments and never had ANY formal training in his life? That’s utterly amazing in itself.
