You can go to http://www.orientaltrading.com and they have lots of cool things
for kids really cheap. Look at the categories of carnivals, camping,
crafts, etc. There is one for a luau. You can get a dozen leis for
$3.95. You could have a luau and let them have a fresh pineapple, then
plant the top of the pineapple and watch it grow. They have neon
visors for $5.95 a dozen, you could get some craft paint and let them
decorate one to wear. They have small canvas bags they could decorate
as well. Also they have a patriotic section, you could buy some things
to celebrate the 4th of July. There is a vacation section that has a
dozen magnetic travel games for $4.95 . There are tons of craft
projects and they are all sold by quantity and dirt cheap. You can
order their snail mail catalogs and see a lot of ideas. I get catalogs
from them, they have one for beads, one for crafts, one vacation Bible
school ideas, it just goes on and on. About every holiday there is
something. I am enjoying reading everyone’s ideas. Have a fun summer!
