How to tell if your Microwave is Leaking Dangerous Radiation

I love using my microwave, especially for steaming veggies and reheating side dishes, or dips, etc but I didn’t realize that as they age they can actually Leak radiation. Here’s a simple test you can do at home to see if your Microwave is leaking dangerous radiation

When you see what you test it with, you’ll be as shocked as I was!

I have one of the new power meters that are digital. I was told it leaked radiation really bad. So, how can I tell if this is happening there since you found leaking microwaves?

Microwave radiation is supposed to be kept inside the microwave like a Faraday cage (a grounded metal screen surround a piece of equipment to block electrostatic and electromagnetic radiation).

I just tested my microwave and found out that mine is definitely leaking, A LOT. Time for a new microwave!!
