you need to re-read the email, it wasn’t ME, last time I looked, as I said in the email I am FEMALE, renter w/same name was MALE, I live in Florida, this happened in Illinois, I haven’t been anywhere near the midwest is almost 10 years.

Check with your auto insurance carrier — most of them treat rental cars as “temporary replacement vehicles” and cover you for damage to rental cars, up to $1,000.
