Start by taking off the doors, then lightly sanding down the entire piece.
then paint, if you want a chalky finish, use the chalk paint recipe here on the site. distress each piece by lightly rubbing sandpaper along the sides and scuff edges, then glaze each piece.
rather than painting the inside she applied material on the walls using a simple spray glue- this adhesive was great, it dries fast but not to fast, so if you mess up (like me) you can pull the material off and move it around.
once the material was finally in place she wrapped it around the front edge and attached it with nail heads. now that everything was painted and secured she just needed to add a beautiful little pillow and they were finished. relief!
